Keyboard Needed for Long Island Classic Rock Band

Keyboard wanted for Long Island classic rock/jam rock cover band. We have about 50 tunes in our rotation from the likes of The Allman Bros, Grateful Dead, The Who, Stones, Petty, Phish, and many others. We like to jam songs out and really get in the pocket.

We are not looking for a hired gun. We do not earn a living from this band. We are looking for someone who is into our genre of music and wants to be a part of a regular thing. We rehearse 2 times a month and gig 5-7 times a year. Rehearsals are in Western Suffolk Co. on weeknights, and sometimes Friday or Saturday night. We have relationships with places like KJ Farrell's, Katie's Of Smithtown, BobbiQue, and The Founders Room in Huntington and are on their gig rotation schedule. We also play at other spots and are always looking for new places to play. We have a decent following and usually can get 50-100 people to a weekend gig with enough notice. The lineup is lead vocals, 2 guitars, bass, drums and sometimes sax when he's available. One of the guitarists sings backup and lead on a couple of tunes.

We are looking for someone to play keys but also someone who can sing harmonies and possibly lead on some tunes as well.

Improvisation ability is very important in this group as well.

We have upcoming gigs booked and would love to have someone who can step right in and if things go well become a permanent band member.

Please have a car and pro gear...

If you are interested let me know and we can exchange more info and set up some studio time to jam. Thanksmoegreeneband@gmail.com
