Full band looking for dedicated pro drummer.

We need a real player, someone (male or female) who is reliable, dedicated and motivated and most importantly, you should be into and be able to play Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Hard Rock and Alternative Rock - we are not emo, metal, bluegrass, acid rock or country.

If you are interested... there are prerequisites for the drummer: you must have your own equipment and transportation and be able to participate in band related activities such as communicating with other band members, gathering fans (promoting), live rehearsal, studio recording, event promoting, gigging and eventually touring. Once a week practice minimum, with homework done by all band members on off nights. Hopefully any drummer selected can rehearse more than this, but this is the mandatory minimum. There is also one mandatory night per month for bass and drums rehearsal to build up the rhythm section exclusively.

Noiseland is comprised Lead Vocals, Guitars and bass and a session drummer. We are currently backed by a manager who is shopping the band to multiple labels, promoters and PR agencies. The band is currently gigging with a well known session drummer and would like to fill the spot with a dedicated full time player in 2007 who wants to make a career out of music, rehearse, record, promote and tour with this band as well as get involved with the creative process and most importantly - have fun. Please, no serious attitudes, egos or hard drug problems.

About Noiseland:
Noiseland is an all original modern hard rock/ alternative band. It's member's gigging credentials include opening for several well known national acts in the NYC club scene. As a whole, Noiseland is a hard rock band with many influences and styles ranging from dark gritty anti-ballads, bombastic grooves, driving riffs and melodic acoustic blues based rock. Composed of strong prolific songwriters and vocal arrangers, Noiseland has acquired a tremendous back library of finished and near finished material. Writing is second nature to this band so be on the look out for never ending changes and additions to their set lists.

Noiseland's main goal is to be the band to fill the huge gap in today's modern hard rock genre. The band's influences range from classic Rock to new hard Rock and the music and vocals heard are in the vein of: Alice in Chains, Days of the New, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Tool, Kings X, The Beatles, Foo Fighters, The Mars Volta and Muse.

Noiseland has all the tools, experience and energy to take the music world by storm. We are currently endorsed by 12 different companies, have a sponsored rehearsal space, we own all our own recording equipment (Pro Tools, Digi002, etc), have industry connections and contacts out the wazzoo and so on. Members of the band have already been signed to Indie labels and have toured, so this is the real deal, hobbyists (using music as an excuse to get away from the house) are not welcome, serious musicians only please. If you want to join a serious project, we are waiting for you. We are getting ready to record a full length as soon as the right drummer is selected and brought in, join and start - its that simple. Hopefully you are out there.
