My name is Mark Barreres and Id like to share with you my ideas about Grass Roots Networking. Before I reveal what Grass Roots means to me, let me share with you a little about myself.

I grew up in Massapequa which is in Long Island, New York. In 1987 my wife and I moved to Virginia which is where we currently reside. I have always had a passion for music and Ive been playing the guitar from when I was kid. One of the things I love to do most is perform with other talented musicians in the Shenandoah Valley.

In 1996 I became very interested in the computer and began to develop some free business websites and music sites. I then began networking these sites with each other. I have always pondered the thought wouldnt it be great if we thought outside of ourselves, helped each other connect to the right people and broke through barriers which would allow many of us to work together where we could help each other prosper?

Our creativity and vision have allowed me to tap into unique ideas that have propelled me forward. Through the years I have begun to create a movement in where I work with honest, talented people who are not only trying to find success for themselves but who are truly interested in the expansion of other peoples businesses.

Well, all that I have just shared really is what Grass Roots Networking means to me. Its the ability to bring together common people who support each others businesses and talents. Its working with people who not only speak about networking with other individuals, but who really and truly live it.
