Performance Opportunities for Woodstock Era Tribute Bands and solo artists at JULY 19-21 2007 GOODSTOCK 2007 MUSIC FESTIVAL!

GOODSTOCK 2007 will bring together the most amazing 60's and 70's bands from coast to coast for a 3-day festival for this musical extravaganza. Experience the music, rock culture, peace and brotherhood of that era!  Bands and fans - from Boston to Berkeley - will finally experience the musical event that they have waited decades for since Woodstock!

Goodstock 2007 is produced and promoted by Larry McClurg, of 60's RCA band Mind Garage, and Artie Kornfeld, famed music industry song writer, manager, producer, and most notable as co-creator of the 1969 WOODSTOCK MUSIC AND ART FAIR - rock history's greatest 'happening' - on Yasgur's farm in upstate New York.

In additional to the main acts planned so far, Goodstock LLC is strongly considering creating a day of Woodstock 1969, known as Retrofest 1969, featuring tributes bands performing many of the bands that performed at the three day Woodstock in 1969. The show will take place during the three day Goodstock  event, and will closely follow the order of performances from the actual 1969 event.

Goodstock LLC is seeking tribute bands that can accurately reproduce the sound, looks, and feeling of the original performers of Woodstock. A full back line as well as sound crew will be provided. All bands will receive RT expense money, gas, meals, etc. A performance fee will also be provided based on from ticket sales, if the show is profitable (Decision to be made by Goodstock LLC).

For consideration, please contact Allan Spielman at allan@retro69. net. Please do NOT contact Goodstock 2007 management.  You will need to provide a proposed set list of the Woodstock performer(s) you plan on covering, as well as a link to a band website and/or press kit. Solo performers covering acoustic performers are also welcome.

Important: All agreements and contracts are between performers and Goodstock LLC. Allan Spielman has been asked as a volunteer to coordinate this event, but is in no way liable for any damages, injuries,  or losses incurred by any band member, staff, volunteer, patron, management, or anyone else involved with Goodstock 2007.  Allan Spielman is not responsible for insuring the carrying out of agreements or contracts performers or anyone else has with Goodstock 2007. Allan Spielman is solely volunteering his time to help coordinate this event, as well as perform at it.

GOODSTOCK 2007 MUSIC FESTIVAL. 3 DAYS OF PEACE & MUSIC
FROM THE CREATORS OF WOODSTOCK and the MIND GARAGE

APRIL 7, 2007

According to Larry McClurg, Goodstock promoter, "Imagine the excitement of seeing the stars and legends of rock who played the Fillmore East, West and Woodstock, with the bands who opened for them, and the fans who were there, all in one place again. That's what Goodstock 2007 is.  This is not an attempt to go back, re-create or re-visit.  It is a new 'happening' and an opportunity for the whole family to experience a re-awakening of the ideals of peace and togetherness through music."

Over the years since 1969 there have been attempts to recreate Woodstock. They had the acts and had the stage but they did not have the Goodstock2007 feeling of reliving of a moment when all good came together through music as one. They never got back to the Garden at these events. I consider Goodstock 2007 to be the first real attempt to have another 3 days of peace and music. I feel magic AGAIN."
Artie Kornfeld

With nearly 50 bands booked to date, Goodstock 2007 will be held July 19 - 21, 2007 on 1000 rolling acres at the Goodevening Ranch in Summersville, West Virginia.  Like Woodstock 1969, Goodstock 2007 is a 3-day music and camping event. The ranch will be transformed into Goodstock Village, as a festival of the sixties offering memorabilia, clothing and band attire, a 60s museum style exhibit, bands performing continually, as well as a San Francisco style light show.

Camp in the Village or stay in nearby hotels. The Village will accommodate bands and music festival fans from nearly every state in the USA, as well as countries worldwide. Unlike Woodstock's for-profit imitators of recent years, Goodstock 2007 is all about peace and music instead of generating profit.

More information on the event, band line-up, and purchase of tickets is available by visiting the Goodstock website at:   http://www.goodstoc k2007.com/

GOODSTOCK is produced and promoted by Larry McClurg, Artie Kornfeld and Goodstock LLC.
