I saw your add and thought I would give you a quick shout. I’m a drummer in a cover band doing Zep Stones, Cream, Rush, and some newer stuff like Audioslave. We have a female singer, 2 guitarists, and me. Our ages are from 28 to 40. I’m the old man. We like classic rock, but we also have a punk sensibility, so any songs that are more current would definitely be considered.
We are looking to gig 1-2 times a month, and practice 1-2 time a week. This is a hobby for us, not a career (we all have those already). We just want to have fun and experience playing some cool music in a bar setting. Once we get it together maybe some weddings, but that would be down the road.

We're looking for a bass player for our project. We're a 7 pc (drums, bass, acoust, 2 electr, keys + femal voc). We do music loosely in the country-rock genre, with forays into motown & R&B. The project also has a strong interest in developing original music. We have a superb songwriter and a large body of originals, both recorded and not yet recorded. The players are all seasoned, forty-something musicians. We have a great rehearsal space in Dix Hills, and have a fairly solid fan base.
