'Soul Be It' - New York's hottest Corporate/Performance band, seeks a female lead vocalist. If you've got the voice, the presence, the professionalism, and the look, you're what we're looking for.
You must: - be prepared for weekly rehearsals (January-May), vocal sectionals, and shows. (We work throughout the tri-state area, and rehearse in Hicksville, Long Island). - have a passion for music. If you sometimes like to sing in the shower, the gig's not for you. - be extremely versatile in the span of musical genres. (We are a soul band, which also covers standards, modern music, and rock tunes). - be able to bring your best self to the table. Each member of this band has an extreme work ethic. (You must be able to collaborate, listen, and communicate).
'Soul Be It' brings something else to the table. We are not your 'typical' corporate cover-band, as we have original arrangements, and an 'in your face' approach. We always think outside of the musical box.
