Keys Sought For Rock Band – Nassau/Suffolk Border

Keyboard player sought for just-forming, rock band,
which already has keen interest from a few Suffolk
bars. For the first jam/rehearsal, we're each
contributing three rock songs we like, learning each
other's songs, then getting together. The long-term
plan is to put together a set list of great jam rock,
mixed with great danceable jam rock, so that the
band has a great time live, and gets the place
jumping. The first half of the performance will feature
tunes played at a lower volume.  The last half will be
cranked.
This project is for musicians who are serious
about having a great time playing music, serious
about gigging, and serious about getting paid
well for those gigs. Once-a-week rehearsals, either
Saturday or Sunday, by mutual agreement, are a
must. If you can't commit to once-a-week
rehearsals, please don't respond to this ad.
Rehearsals are in an inexpensive studio
($15/player/rehearsal) in Farmingdale, off Route 110.
The band features guitar, keys, bass and drums.
     Vocals/Background Vocals a plus.
The band and its gigs will be heavily marketed via
the Web and social media, including Facebook,
Twitter and YouTube, as well as via traditional news
media. A marketing plan for the band is already
developed.
Tune selections come from late 60s-to-current day
rock bands in the mode of the Stones, Allman
Brothers, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Kinks, Pink Floyd,
Springsteen, Eagles, Grateful Dead, Cure, etc.
Players are in their 40s and early 50s. If you don't
mind playing with us geezers, younger is fine.
