KEN :

I know your posting is ancient, but I had to respond.  I just discovered this site.

Your ad really speaks to me.  I'm an experienced vocalist, mid-50s, sarcastic, no drama, obsessed with music my entire life.  Moved to NY a year ago, and I'm pretty irked by the music situation.  I seek something where people have to scrape their bowels off the floor before deciding if they like it.  I can play some bass, and I'm good at banging on stuff.  Should you ever require a vocalist who's literally willing to die for music, please give me a shout.  Thanks.

Us older guys are playing on the back nine. We could croak any day now. Why waste hours and hours learning rundown strip mall bar tunes for a handful of barflies that don't care when you can have a blast and do your own thing and shout out a hearty 'Eff Youuuuu' to this whacked out world.

That old school punk indie stuff sure was good. Lots of humor, sarcasm, and shove it all you closet pervs in suits. But you say, "hey now, I know some of them scales and some kooky oddball time sigs, so why don't we make some raw, tongue in cheek old school then hit them over the head here and there with a don't blink or you'll miss it bit of musicianship that have all the punters wake up and go, "WTF was thaaaaaat??!!"

Need bass, drum, sing... er, uh, have a fun personality and be in pitch, thats all.

Return addresses requested.
