We are a local L.I. 6pc Classic Rock/blues/contemporary rock band. We and play
locally once or twice a month for our own enjoyment. The pay averages about $75 per gig. We all have professional day jobs and as you can see, are not doing this for the money. We're not looking for someone who wants to play more than that, or who plays with multiple bands. The main thing is to have the desire
to play with a great bunch of musicians. Experience is required, but if you've played with a band years ago, took a break, play at home, and would love to get back out there on a limited basis, you could be for us!

If you could handle an occasional piano or organ solo, and can provide
a solid rhythm section with our bass player & drummer, that would be
great! Our ideal player would know when to play, and what to play, and not to overplay!

We're looking to replace our current keyboard player. We have our
own PA, and rehearsal space. Rehearsals would be once a week (at a
studio in Lindenhurst or the bass players home in Melville) until we are all
comfortable with the music, then maybe every 2 weeks or so. You would
sing approx 25% of the material.
