Just wondering if you are still looking for a guitar player for the band. I'm retired, play mostly guitar but have played bass in bands about 16 years ago. I haven't played in a long time but would love to try it again. I would try playing bass. I don't know many songs but can be devoted to learn quickly on my own before a rehearsal. I am also in my 60s.
we are a 50s-60s band in search of one more player. either bass,a 2nd guitar or keyboard who can play bass lines. we are female vocalist fronted,drums,sax,guitar/keys. we need someone who can fill the missing element. read carefully-we do a lot of charity gigs, cancer, veterans, etc. if you need to get paid for every note...don't respond.we practice in bellmore usually every other saturday and are quite busy between april and october. we are in our 60's just fyi. more important to us is a team player, who can commit to one band and knows the material. we don't need a shredder, or the world's gift to music.we wear a uniform, provided by the band. thanks for looking....vintagegto@aol.com
