I am so sorry to hear Mark Regula the musician from Long Island had passed away in March of this year.
Mark was regarded in the biz as a highly regarded singer, songwriter, and musician. I knew Mark years ago as a child growing up on Long Island.
I look forward to seeing Mark Regula again.
If a man die, shall he live again? asked the man Job long ago. (Job 14:14, King James Version) Perhaps you, too, have wondered about this. How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions?
Well, the Bible makes the promise: Your dead ones will live. . . . They will rise up. And the Bible also says: The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29. - learn more
Sunday, September 20, 2009. Radio Interview. Independent recording artists: Ivory Tower Project 's music will be featured on internet radio station: WSF Radio - on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 6:30 PM EDT for a 1 hour show. The group's founder and lead vocalist: Mark Regula will be interviewed live and selected music from ITP 's CD
"The title track from the forthcoming album ['How Much More?'] opens with a piano accompanied by a dreamy guitar which leads to the vocals that build up the track before it ramps up with a 70s/80s classic pop/rock feel that ties in beautifully with the lyrics. 'How Much More?' is certainly a track that has been well produced with love for the sound that fans of ITP have come to love over the years that they have been producing some brilliant tracks. This track is certainly one that opens up the albums and sets you up for the rest of the tracks to enjoy." -- Karen Woodham, Blazing Minds, United Kingdom
IvoryTowerProject (ITP) was formed by songwriters Johnny Jace & MarkRegula, based out of New York. NYC veteran guitarist: Tony Novarro was recruited and Novarro & Regula formed the core of ITP. As band members left, they were replaced by the NY Metro's finest studio musicians which transformed IvoryTower from being a band into a "Project".
The phrase Ivory Tower has long been a metaphor for a place of refuge from the rest of the world. For singer/songwriter Mark Regula of the critically acclaimed modern vintage rock band Ivory Tower Project, this figurative ideal resonates deeply. The New York City-based band has functioned as a safe haven for its members to process and, ultimately, triumph over trying times.
