I put out that reggae ad a couple of months ago. I saw your post inquiring about roots experience. I've played bass for 2 years in a band, roots and radicals, doing mostly roots, but some dancehall, and unique covers. I played in another roots-inspired reggae band as a guitarist for a year in college. I'm all about berris hammond, jimmy cliff, of course bob marley, but as a guitarist started out with classic rock, like zepplin/hendrix. Most roots reggae uses similar classic rock/blues based chord progressions with some rhythmic variation. It's vibes. It's what's missing when you turn on the radio. -Mike

I am a guitarist looking for solid bass, drums, keys, and any other miscelloanious instruments to play and write original and cover rockin' reggae music. Roots to dancehall, sublime to marley, to buju, and then some. Balzemar@aol.com
