hi charlie,

i am a drummer, and i have a vocalist and possibly another guitarist(he has no ego, so dont worry).

we gigged last year as a creed tribute band called human clay. we are not creed freaks...it was just a hook to get us gigs. we want to start over. we all have jobs too and want to play just for fun and to gig maybe 1 or 2x a month. so you sound like you're on the same page as us. we like evrything from classic rock(zep, doors, halen, sabbath) to metal(metallica, crue, etc.) alternative(pearl jam, stp, nirvana and so on). i am 35 as is my vocalist. my guitar is 28. we jam in port jeff(my house...so there is no need to constantly pay for studio time, my wife is cool with it).

let me know...email me, infield@optonline.net or call my cell at 516-906-3300.

Hey!

It's not tonight!!!

It's WEdnesday nights open mic at Ruby's in Port Jeff....9-11pm.

If you are interested..it's across the street from Mather Hospital....

So, LIE to 62 Nicholls Rd..make a rt onto 347. Make a lt onto 112. About 3 miles down They'll be a traffic light that says North country Rd...there will also be a hospital sign ( land marks...you would pass a 7-11 and cross over train tracks....the first light over the tracks...dont go down the hill!!! :)  )

the second right is the road Ruby's is on. Mather Hospital should be right in front of you!

There is a japanese restaurant as soon as you turn and Ruby's is right next door.

Next Friday night I am playing a full set at a place called Truffles' in wading river.

Thanks for the enthusiasm though! That's great.

I excited to maybe get together.

Thanks for the directions and I plan on being there to meet and hear you play.

Hi Maggie,
If your playing Ruby's tonight, thats friday, august 20th I'll be there. The directions for the Roadhouse are as follows... From the LIE, get off at Rt 106-107, hicksville road and head south. past Old Country Road, just after Boundry Lane it will be in the Shopping Center on your right. The address is 4222 Hicksville Road bethpage. From the Southern state is easier, exit 29 north, a mile up on the left. or take the seaford oysterbay expressway south to the last exit before the southern state and make a right, its right there on your left.

My E-Maill address is zog62@aol.com

I hope to see you later

Hey Joe, thanks for the quick response.

I am going to try to come to the roadhouse open mic next week. Could you e me directions?

I am playing at Ruby's in Port Jeff...it's also an open mic...it's from 9p,-11pm..or later if there are alot of acts.

But I usually put my name onthe list early in the night so I can go by 10pm. ( DAy job too!)

I am also playing next Friday night at pub named Truffles in wading river. It's on 25a in the king kullen shopping center. 7-10pm...

AS you can see, I usually try to get booked earlier than later....I'm not against playing later but when given the choice, I usually pick dinner hours. The people that I usually attract to listen like to eat too.

www.runicrecords.com  This is the web site of the people who are producing the new cd.

The purchase and information pages are currently down and should be back up at the end of the week...but, at least you can see what I look like.

Friday night, if you came, I am playing with my friend...his name is Joe too!

I hope to see you next Thursday night. If you could please send me an idea on how to get there from the Expressway...that would be great!

Hello Margaret,
I am a lead guitar player, both acoustic and electric, recently retired so my social calender is free, according to my wife anyway. I play with a female vocalist who does the same stuff you do, and I'm looking to play more. I have over 20 years experience, have played the Long Island circuit for years. Anyway, if your interested, maybe we can get together and try it out. I'm playing my partners open mic tonight at the Rockaway cafe in East Rockaway, and next Thursday we'll be at the Roadhouse doing our open mic in Bethpage.

Hope to hear from you

Joe

HI. My name is Margaret. I am currently looking for a lead guitar player. I am getting booked 1-2 times a month. I play alot of  70's and fun type "rock" songs...ie...under the board walk, brown eyed girl, takin care of business...and alot of "female" singers...linda rondstadt, bonnie rait, melissa etheridge and indigo girls...

I'm not sure what I sing is what you are in to...I have a guy that plays with me now. just a 2 person show with a drum machine. He cannot play more than 1x a month. I told him ok..but I was going to look for someone else.

I dont need someone to play with to do my sets. I'd just really like if someone played with me. It fills in the emptiness and just steps up the show.

I am currently being marketed for my own CD. I know you dont want a career and actually, the record company is provide "studio" people for that anyway..I just wanted to tell you up front that I do have that going on.

I live out East in Suffolk. The 2 most frequent places I play are in wading river and in mineola...

Let me know if you are interested if hearing me.

I have sent out other emails too. I have also met 2 other guys already that seem nice.

Good luck with your search! NO  matter what...keep playing. :)

Lead guitarist with 20+ years experience wants to join copy band to play out occasionally for fun. Not looking to be a rock star, not looking for a second income. Just want to have fun. Want to make cover songs "our own". Although I'm looking for a "casual" project, I'm still very dedicated. My major influences are Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page & David Gilmour. Give a call or drop me a note to discuss. Into almost any kind of rock, ex: Stones, Stone Temple Pilots, Zep, VH, AC/DC, to name very few.
