It's too bad you guys are so cold and dead inside that you'll never know ( or remember ) the buzz generated by moving a composition from start to finish . I need more from music than learning the latest guitar solo from ( put your latest MTV flavor of the month band here ).

Only losers want to play, and expect others to endure, their crappy originals.
Cover bands get paid for our work...thats being a professional.
People want to be entertained with songs they are familiar with and makes them happy.
My God, what do you think would happen if bands only wanted to play original music?
I mean, it would be catastrophic to the industry if the bands who's music we cover only.. played... originals.....ah...er....uhhhh......hmmmmmnn.........

This is an old argument,but it cuts both ways,We`ve all seen a performer breathe new life into an old song,or someone new who has something to say.And then there`s tired performances of old songs,or "new songs" that are garbage.Part of it`s the song,but alot of it is the the emotion put into it.But if you don`t like your situation,then change it.

If a chick will sink low enough, she can spread her legs and make tons of tax free money. But most don't.
You can do something thats common and vulgar and make tons of money. The society responds to the lowest common denominator.
What would be original is if that same chick finds a cure for cancer, stops a war or invents cheap energy.

SO CALLED ORIGINAL BANDS ARE RUINING THE MUSIC INDUSTRY WORLDWIDE.SINGER SLASH ACCOUSTIC GUITAR PLAYERS WITH Lead Singer DISEASE.A GOOO COVER PLAYER KNOWS HOW TO PLAY.MOST ORIGINAL PLAYERS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW LIKE RANDY JACKSON OF ZEBRA PLAY ORIGINALS BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY COVERS WELL.I WORKED FO 3 STUDIOS OVER THE YEARS & HAVE LISTENED TO MANY BANDS WASTING TIME & MONEY.HOW MANY GREENDAY BANDS DO WE NEED?DUH THE IDEA IS OLD NEWS.GO TO ANY MAJOR ENTERTAINMENT CITY LIKE VEGAS A/C & YOU'LL HEAR TRIBUTE OR COVER BANDS PLAYING.GETTING PAID BY THE WAY.
