Honestly....good luck getting anywhere near that price...I had a 1976 Cherry Sunburst "Kalamazoo" Custom edition in pristine condition up for sale for years and finally parted with it for $800.00 cause, seriously most peeps(not all) would rather spend their cash on newer guitars. I seriously doubt anyone's gonna throw you even 1 grand for it, let alone 2
1977 Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst: The front is gorgeous and clean with a GREAT grain showing through sparking sunburst. This is shiny and new looking and gorgeous! It has the Gibson T-top pat.# stamped pickups. She plays and sounds FANTASTIC. This guitar is solid with NO issues. The case is original, 2 middle latches broken but fixable & case FULLY functional. The pots read 36th. week of 1977 and they match with solder joints all intact/original. STUNNING excellent condition, an 8 out of 10 only because of some paint flaking on back neat rythym/treble cavity. The top on this has to be seen to be believed, pics don't fully do this baby justice. I hate to part with this from my colleciton but the mid 70's guitars I have, I have to part with to make room. Rated and examined by leading luthier on Long Island and recommended insured at $3,500. 100% all original, serial # and pot codes all check out. Cleaned, polished and set to rock. There have never been any cracks, breaks or modifications at all! I have another guitar coming so this has to go! I have lowered the price to only $2,200I hate to do it but I have to move this baby.
