We are a Long Island based hard rock band fronted by a female singer with an amazing voice. We are looking for a full time drummer who would be committed and passionate about the music that we play. No egos please! The name of the band is Striving in Greater Hopes (S.I.G.H). We practice in our own recording studio/rehearsal space in Brentwood, Long Island. We write/record/produce and promote all of our own music. We even have created an online music magazine for local bands on Long Island. We have been compared to Evanescence, Lacuna Coil and Paramore, but we assure you that our sound is completely original. Each band member comes from a different musical background. Our influences range from death metal to pop rock. We gig frequently and would like to tour in the near future.
